Alicante 8 is a relatively young star cluster approximately 20 light years away from Earth belonging to the Scutum–Centaurus Arm of the Milky Way galaxy.
It is a hiding place for the Volm's brood-mates and hatchlings during the war against the Espheni. However, the enemy eventually discovered them in 2013, and Commander Waschak-cha'ab had to redirect most of his force from Earth to Alicante 8 to come to their families' defense.
