Jessica is a survivor of the invasion and is currently living on a farm with her family, safe from the war, and is shielded from what is happening in the world by her mother and grandfather.
Story[]
Pre-Invasion[]
After Jessica's dad died in Afghanistan, it triggered her mother Alicia to move to Willie's farm.
The Invasion of Earth[]
Jessica lives on an 1000 acre farm, with no major roads or neighbors. The reason the aliens haven't attacked is the tree coverage, and to survive they trap rabbits, squirrels and catch crawdads in the creek to eat, and get water from the spring. Her grandfather owns a gas generator on the farm, and was big on stockpiling before the invasion hit. Willie and Alicia have kept the war away from the Jessica and the kids. Jessica is being home-schooled by her mother.
Season 5[]
"Respite"[]
Jessica is seen playing with her brother Zach outside. Jessica attends dinner, and asks Tom Mason what happened to his leg. Jessica and the family pray before they eat, and is asked by Willie to pass him the corn. After Isabella and Hal Mason find the farm, Jessica and Zach talk with Isabella before she leaves. Jessica is present when Tom, Hal and Isabella leave the farm.
