Maximilian Corrientes portrayed a fighter in the 2nd Massachusetts Militia Regiment throughout Season 4.
How did you get your role in Falling Skies?
I was contacted by the Extras Casting Directors of the Show.
What roles have you had in Falling Skies?
They wanted me either to be part of the 2nd Mass or as one of Lexi's followers. In the end I got picked for 2nd Mass.
Can you confirm your character's fate?
My character's fate is unknown.
Did your character have a backstory which was not shown/cut? If not, did you create one for yourself?
I created my own backstory for my character. We got really good explanations by the director and AD on what was going on in every scene which I think also helped everyone to create interesting backstories of our own.
How did you get into character, did the costume and make-up help?
The set was a great help. There were so many externals that helped you get into character too like mud, burning barrels, freezing wind. The wardrobe did a great job too. Everything and everyone looked the part. I think working with so many talented actors was what helped me the most.
Do you have any interesting or funny stories from your time on the set?
During one take we had a group of people being surprised with a light beam. I heard someone pass wind. For some reason I found that hilarious, especially when everyone is just staring at the light surprised and it's dead silent.
What was it like working so closely with the whole cast?
It was great. The whole cast was nice and coming back to set felt like coming back to a second family. You go through a lot together and I think that's why everyone grows so much on you. There was not a single actor you weren't happy to be around with.
Did you watch the show prior to your role?
I have to admit I did not.
Are you currently working on anything interesting that you can reveal?
I'm currently preparing for a starring role as an agent for a feature film called "cortex of perception". There's another production coming up next year. Unfortunately nothing I can talk about yet.
