Skitter electrostaffs, referred to as a pain stick, were used during the Invasion of Earth.

It seems to greatly resemble a Cattle prod in appearance and use, delivering a powerful electric shock to the victim.(Worlds Apart)
Usage[]
This weapon is rare, as most Skitters have been seen engaging in hand to hand combat with humans or used Mechs or on rare occassions harnessed children. While on an Espheni ship a Skitter used it on Tom Mason. It was later used as a torture device by Karen, when the 2nd Mass fighters were captured; she used it to repeatedly shock Tom and Captain Dan Weaver, and threatened to use it on Anne Glass (whom she realized was pregnant with Tom's child) to coerce Tom into giving information. This same weapon was ironically used by Tom Mason to kill the East Coast Overlord Commander .
